About Nicole...

​ I was born in Escanaba, located in the beautiful Upper Penninsula of Michigan. In 2001 I moved to Mt. Pleasant, Michigan to attend Central Michigan University where I received a degree in Vocal Music Performance. When it became apparent that I wasn't destined to be a star on Broadway, I returned to CMU after a two year hiatus to pursue my other passion: film.

 I graduated with a degree in Cinematic Arts with aspirations of moving to the big city to become a film editor. However, it was while attending CMU the second time that I met my husband and, well, once again plans changed when we got the news that we were expecting our first child. We decided to remain in Mid-Michigan and it was in 2009 that I decided to combine the skills I had aquired as a Cinematic Arts major with my passion for photography (and my love of everything that has to do with weddings!) and took the plunge into the world of wedding photography.

 I currently reside in Lansing, Michigan with my husband, Josh, our son, Jack, and our black cat Odin.
When I'm not taking photos, I enjoy directing the choir at my church, reading, doing crossword puzzles,  singing karaoke, having dance parties with my son, and playing Mario Kart Wii. I'm also an annoyingly avid fan of the Green Bay Packers. Try not to hold it against me :)
